Mark Wiesner was a four-year lettermen for the Wagner football program from 1949-1953. An offensive and defensive tackle he was a co-captain as a senior in 1953 and won the Robb Homecoming Trophy. Former New York Giants and Wagner Hall of Fame coach Jim Lee Howell commented that Wiesner could play for any football program in the country. An "iron man" player, he saw action on both offensive and defensive and was a starter over his last three and a half years. Now running a private psychology practice, the Staten Island native once held the consecutive-minutes played record at Wagner. A member of the New Dorp High School Hall of Fame he is the father of Neal and Annabel.
