In 2023-24, we will be opening a new film room that will be exclusive to both basketball programs!
The theater style seating will allow our student-athletes to watch and study game film in a relaxed and comfortable environment.Â

A MESSAGE FROM COACH COPELAND
Dear Friends of Wagner Basketball,
We're just over a month away from the start of another season on Grymes Hill, and I can't wait to see you all packing the Spiro Center each and every game day this winter. We enjoyed a productive and memorable summer, and I'm excited to see what this year's roster will bring to the table. Between our returning veterans and an infusion of new talent, I truly believe this is a group that can be special.
This year's schedule will see our team match up with schools from the BIG EAST, Atlantic-10, America East and the MAAC, among others. We have great opportunities to see how we stack up against a local power in Seton Hall, and a pair of road games in the Ocean State against Providence College and URI will be great tests for us. We hope you get to the Spiro Center to watch us battle another local rival in NJIT, as well as Patriot League foe Boston University, both of whom will be contenders in their respective conferences. Of course, competing for a Northeast Conference championship is what we strive for, so make sure you're there for all eight conference home games.
Thanks to the support of Hardwood Club members near and far, we were able to take our program to Saint Thomas this past August. While we were there, we played two exhibition games against the US Virgin Island national team and  took in a variety of cultural experiences. This trip was crucial to achieve our goal of providing our student-athletes with a first-class experience that they will never forget, and we owe it to the continued support of our Hardwood Club members who made the trip possible!
The Hardwood Club has been an integral part of the team's success and accomplishments since its inception; the support from alumni, family, and friends is pivotal in the continued growth of the program, especially as we plan future projects. Your support provides our student-athletes with the opportunity to excel during their time as a Seahawk and helps us provide an experience they will never forget, in addition to preparing them for life after graduation.
