A 6-0 forward from Gibsonia, PA, Carrie Walker ranks 13th in Wagner history in career scoring with 1,288 points while possessing the 10th-highest scoring average (13.6 ppg) all-time. Additionally, she remains among the top-10 all-time at Wagner in career rebounds (813), free throws made (354) and free throws attempted (458). As a senior in 2003-04, she led the team with 17.5 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per game en route to earning All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association honors. A shining star academically, as well, Walker was named to the 2004 Third-Team Verizon Academic All-America Team, announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and was the recipient of the 2004 NEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award. A two-time All-NEC selection (First Team in 2003, Second Team in 2004), she was named the 2001 NEC Rookie of the Year, as well as to the NEC All-Rookie Team, after averaging 12.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. In 2002-03, Walker led Wagner to a 15-13 overall record a 10-8 NEC mark as a junior en route to earning First-Team All-NEC honors, During her stellar four-year career, she led the Seahawks to an NEC record of 39-33, highlighted by an 11-7 record in 2001-02.
