Hall of Fame
A multi-sport athlete Harry Orlando was a member of the basketball and baseball teams during his time at Wagner. Orlando, who was coached by Wagner Hall of Fame coach Herb Sutter, scored 1,117 points, which ranked fifth at the time of his graduation and is more impressive due to the fact he shared shots with fellow Hall of Fame Inductee Milfred Fierce. His expertise at guard earned him All-East in Basketball. Additionally, Orlando was All-League in both basketball and baseball. His baseball coach Herb White, relied heavily on Harry Orlando and stated that he, "was steady and consistent..." Upon graduation, in 1960, he was given the best scholar-athlete award. He and his wife Cheryl have two children; Diane and Karen.
