Hall of Fame
Joseph Flotten (1922-1926) was one of the finest athletes of his time. A 1926 graduate, he earned eight varsity letters in basketball and baseball, while captaining the cagers to a 27-20 record over the last three years. On the court Flotten paced the basketball team in scoring his senior year averaging 11.5 points per game as Wagner achieved a 10-4 record.

Flotten also served as captain of the baseball team, while manning the shortstop position on the diamond. In addition to his excellence on the field, he was also sports editor of Kallista, the Wagner College yearbook. Following graduation, Flotten returned to Grymes Hill to serve as the Wagner College chaplain for four years.
