Hall of Fame
Native Staten Islander, Bob “Sticks” Schnurr has been a Wagner College statistician and worthy contributor for more than 40 years. He became involved in basketball in 1970, football in 1978 and women's volleyball in 1992. During his valuable time assisting the men's basketball program, Schnurr has spanned the tenures of eight different head coaches including Chester Sellitto, John Goodwin, P.J. Carlesimo, Neil Kennett, Tim Capstraw, Dereck Whittenburg, Mike Deane and current coach Dan Hurley. Today, he continues his level of commitment to these sports and can be found at all home games. Additionally he has traveled to all men's basketball road games for the last 30 years. Schnurr, received his Bachelor's Degree in business administration in 1974 and returned to Wagner to receive his MBA in 1978. Schnurr was honored with the Alumni Service Award in 1985 while also staying active as the President of the Hardwood Club and as a member of the Wagner Hall of Fame Committee.
