Wagner College Athletics

George Cruzado (1961-1964) was a truly outstanding football player who participated on the varsity from 1960-1964. A two-way starter during his football days at Wagner College, Cruzado was a two-way player, lining up as a center on offense and a linebacker on defense. The Captain of Wagner’s 1964 undefeated team, he also was the winner of the Robb trophy in the 1963 homecoming game.
 
Cruzado was known for his ability to make the big play on defense and anchored the offensive line during the 1964 undefeated season.
