Patricia Hoff-Dillon (1975-1979) was the first Wagner women’s basketball student-athlete to ever surpass the 1,000 career point barrier, finishing with 1,154 points in just three seasons. During her junior season in 1977-1978, Hoff Dillon averaged 23.1 points per game. Fueled by her six 30-plus point games during that magical season, Hoff-Dillon was a finalist for the prestigious Wade Trophy, presented to the nation’s most outstanding women’s basketball player.
Hoff-Dillon hit the 1,000 point milestone in style, scoring 33 points and pulling down 14 rebounds in a 68-64 win over Mercy. Two days earlier, she hit for a career high 34 points in a 77-51 win over Jersey City State. Her career average of 17.8 ppg is second- best in Seahawk history.
