Andy Fellouris was widely considered to be the best all-around defensive football player at Wagner in the mid-1980’s. A born leader, he was a team captain during each of his final two seasons on Grymes Hill. Fellouris was a four-year varsity member and three-year starter, recording more than 100 tackles in each of his final three seasons while leading the Seahawks in tackles as a both a junior and senior.

An exceptionally instinctive and hard-hitting linebacker, he was equally adept at stopping the run and the pass. This local product, and graduate of Tottenville High School, amassed 343 career tackles, which ranks sixth on the Seahawk all-time list. The MVP of the 1985 team, Fellouris helped lead Wagner to a combined record of 31-9-1 (1982-85) during his four-year career, headlined by a 9-2 mark in his senior season.

He had five interceptions during his senior season and wound up with a career total of nine which ranks ninth on the all-time Green & White list and tops among linebackers. Following his graduation, he served as middle linebackers coach in 1986 and on the 1987 National Championship team.
