New Britain, CT - The Wagner baseball team resumes its season series with the defending Northeast Conference (NEC) champions, Central Connecticut, this weekend at CCSU Baseball Field.
With inclement weather in the forecast, Friday's first-pitch between the Seahawks and Blue Devils will now be set for 12:00 p.m.
Last Time Out...
- The Seahawks were able to tie the game in the bottom of the fifth before Merrimack scored twice in the sixth and eighth before Wagner gave it one final ride, falling to the Warriors, 6-5, in the series finale on Sunday afternoon.
- The Green & White had four players tally multi-hit games as Dante Faicchio, Griffin Selby, Cody Bey and David Melfi each had two hits.
- Melfi and AJ Vigliotti drive in a pair of RBIs on the afternoon. Faicchio collected the Green & White's other RBI.
