2021 Senior Season
Started in 35 of 36 games during the year... Batted .258 (34 for 132) while driving in 12 RBI and scoring 15 runs... Had four doubles and was 5 of 7 in stolen base attempts... Posted a .351 on-base percentage... Had eight multi-hit games, recording three hits on three occasions, the last coming at Sacred Heart (May 20) as he went 3 for 9 with three RBIs... Was fifth on the team in batting average, on-base percentage... Finished second on the team in hits (34)... Produced the third-highest walk total (15)... In the field, recorded 80 assists (eighth in the NEC) while fielding 17 double plays (tied for seventh in the circuit).Â
2020Â Junior Season
Started in 14 games for the Seahawks as team's starting shortstop... Batted .220 (11-50) with two doubles, and drove in six RBI... Scored six runs on the season... Tied for the team-lead with four multi-hit games, the last coming at East Tennessee State (3/7/20)... Had a team-leading 31 assists (fifth in the NEC) and helped turn six double plays (tied for sixth in the league).Â
2019 Sophomore Season
Played in all 51 games while earning the starting nod in 45 contests… Primarily served as the Seahawks starting second baseman, making 30 starts at second and 15 at shortstop… Batted .204 for the season (32-for-157) with 17 runs scored, seven doubles and drove in 14 RBI… Seven of his 14 RBI came with two outs… Posted a total OPS of .532… Batted .275 with runners on and .429 with the bases loaded… Had nine multi-hit games and two games in which he had three hits, the last coming at Monmouth (3/23), in which he drove in three RBIs… CONFERENCE ONLY… Batted .203 with four RBIs… Posted a .523 OPS in league play… Had four multi-hit games, the last coming on the road at Fairleigh Dickinson (5/17), where he went 2-for-5.
2018 Freshman Season
Appeared in three games in 2018… Made his collegiate debut on February 18 at North Carolina Central, coming in as a defensive replacement at shortstop… Had two at-bats on the season… Came on in relief at UCF (3/4/18), working one-third of an inning, giving up a run and a hit in his only outing of the bullpen on the season. CONFERENCE ONLY: Did not appear in any conference games in 2018.
Before Wagner
Was a two-sport athlete at Smithtown High School East... Played two years of varsity baseball for coach Ken Klee... Was a three-year varsity member of the Bulls volleyball team, playing under head coach Ray Preston... In his junior year, was a League 3 All-League Player... All-Suffolk County league selection...Batted .342 with 15 RBIs... In his senior season, was named team captain... Batted .308 with 18 RBIs... Tied for first-place on the all-time career wins’ list at Smithtown High School East... Became the first player from Smithtown High School East to win an All-County Award for Suffolk County in 11th and 12th grade... Was named the 2017 Most Valuable Player from the Smithtown High School East Booster Club... Ranked in the top-20 Blue Chip Prospects of the 2017 graduating class... All-League 3 Pitcher honoree... Selected as one of 25 players for the Long Island Grand Slam Challenge All-Star Game in Suffolk County... Named to the 2017 All-State Baseball Honor for New York State, one of the top players selected in NYS... On the volleyball court, he was a varsity starter for three years... In tenth grade, was a League 1 All-League Honorable Mention... In 11th grade, recognized as one of the top players in the league after being named League 1 All-League player... In his final year, named team captain, in which he helped lead his team to the League 1 championship.Â
