2024 Graduate Season: Named to the Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award Watch List for the fourth time in his career... Was selected as a top-50 catcher in the country by D1Baseball.com in the preseason... Batted .210 with a .678 OPS in his final season on Grymes Hill... Made appearances in 47 games, starting in 45... Logged 157 at-bats, recording ten doubles on the year... Drove in 20 runs and hit four home runs... Went 5-for-7 on stolen base opportunities... Had a multi-home run game on May 18 against FDU.

2023 Senior Season: Had the best season of his Seahawk career, both at the plate and behind it... Won numerous accolades (All-NEC First Team, NEC All-Tournament Team, ABCA/Rawlings Northeast All-Region First Team, All-ECAC Team)... Was named to the Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award Watch List for a third time and became the first Wagner catcher to be named one of 13 semifinalists for the award... Batted a career-best .344 and led the team in OPS (1.019), doubles (16), home runs (11), RBIs (60) and slugging percentage (..594)... Amassed a .996 fielding percentage and caught a career-high 24 runners stealing... Took home NEC Player of the Week honors on 3/28 after collecting eight hits and ten RBIs in the Delaware State series (3/24-3/26)... Also was named NEC Prime Performer three times (2/28, 3/21 and 3/28).

2022 Junior Season: Named to Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award Watch List for the second consecutive year… Started 34 games, recording five multi-hit games… Recorded a season-high three RBIs while also scoring three runs at Fordham (3/16)… Homered at USC (3 / 5) and at Fordham (3/16)… Finished the season with 26 hits and 16 RBIs. 

2021 Sophomore Season: Appeared in 34 games while earning the start in 31 contests, primarily behind-the-plate... Batted .252 (31 of 123) with three home runs and drove in 12 RBI.. Scored 15 runs on the season... Posted a .324 on-base percentage and a .398 slugging percentage... Had seven multi-hit games, highlighted by a season-best three hit performance against Sacred Heart (March 26)... Drove in a season-high three RBI against LIU (April 10) in the first game of a doubleheader... Behind-the-plate, he tied for fourth in the Northeast Conference (NEC) with two runners picked off... Recorded the fourth-highest total in chances (321) in the conference while tying for fifth in the league in putouts (278)... He cut down the opponents stolen base threats 18 times, a conference-high. 

2020 Freshman Season: Played in 13 games for the Seahawks... Made 11 starts behind-the-plate... Batted .196 (9-46) with one double and drove in three RBI... Scored five runs on the season... Went 2 for 5 with two runs scored in his Seahawk debut at Norfolk State (2/14/20)... Had three multi-hit games, the last coming in a two-hit showing against Ohio (3/8/20)... Led the NEC in chances with 107 and finished second in putouts with 94.

Before Wagner: A four-year varsity starter on the Jackson Liberty High School baseball team… school’s career record holder in hits (127), HRs (19), RBIs (106), 2Bs (45) and runs (98)… three-time Jersey Shore Carpenter Cup All-Star, Asbury Park Press First Team All-Shore and Class B South Hitter of the Year (2017-19)…2018 Ocean County Underclass Player of the Year after hitting a school-record .457 with seven HRs, 12 2Bs and driving in 28 runs…2019 NJ.com First Team All-State and Shore Conference Player of the Year after hitting .437 with 10 HRs and 46 RBIs, both school-records, while scoring 37 runs… 2019 Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League MVP after slugging .667 and hitting a league-best .406…Son of Christine and Craig Melfi,  a catcher on the 1992 Seahawks baseball team…Pursuing a degree in business administration at Wagner
