GREENSBORO, N.C. — Graduate Lukas Torres has been selected as a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association's Northeast All-Region as a member of the second team, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
With eight regions across the country, members of the teams are selected by members of the ABCA. First recognized in 1949, the ABCA All-America teams now span nine divisions.
Torres was one of five outfielders from the northeast region selected to the second team. He is one of six student-athletes from the state of New York on the second team and the only representative from the NEC named to either team.
The recognition is just the latest in a string of honors for the graduate in his sixth year on Grymes Hill. On June 3, Torres was named the NEC Male Team Student-Athlete of the Year, the highest recognition the conference office awards each year.
After the regular season, Torres earned All-NEC first team honors. He was one of two Seahawks to start all 53 games this season, batting .406 with 82 hits. He logged a pair of four-hit games and concluded 2026 with 26 multi-hit games.
Off the field, Torres was also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-Region team as recognition for his performance in the classroom alongside his baseball achievements. He was named to the Lou Gehrig Community Impact Team as an honorable mention member, selected by the College Baseball Hall of Fame to recognize those student-athletes making a difference in their community.
