Brookville, NY - After securing its first Northeast Conference (NEC) series sweep against Sacred Heart, the Wagner baseball team looks to continue its winnings ways when they open up a three-game series at LIU, beginning on Thursday afternoon.

- The Seahawks went 1-2 a season ago against the Sharks, with the lone win coming in the first game of the April 10 doubleheader, 8-3, as five Seahawks had two hits apiece, led by David Melfi, who drove in three and scored twice. Henry Martinez scored two runs while Mike Ruggiero, Cody Bey and Ethan Valdez had a pair of hits in the win.
- John LaPointe picked up the win, throwing 7.1 scoreless innings in relief as he didn't allow a hit until the fifth inning and once again to start the ninth.
