Senior Eddie Brown is the Wagner College Men’s Student-Athlete of the Month for May. Brown capped his Seahawk career by hitting .333 (10-for-30) with five RBI, two runs, two doubles, two stolen bases and a .432 OBP for the month. After beginning May with a single against NJIT (5/1), Brown went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a double in helping fuel Wagner’s 15-5 romp over eventual Northeast Conference (NEC) Champion Sacred Heart (5/4). He followed that up by hitting safely in both ends of Saturday’s doubleheader split with the Pioneers (5/5). Brown then capped his solid two-year career with the Green & White by batting .333 (4-for-12) with a double and a walk over four games at NEC Regular Season Champion Bryant (5/11-5/13). For the year, he paced Wagner with a .314 average while also leading the team with 15 doubles, three home runs, 36 RBI, a .456 slugging percentage and a .404 on-base percentage.
