Senior utility Kimberly Watson, the NCAA Division I leader in both goals (42) and points (62), delivered a torrid offensive stretch, leading the Seahawks to a 6-1 record during the month of February. Thanks largely to Watson's offensive prowess, Wagner enters the month of March having won seven of its last eight matches. The Pointe-Claire, Quebec native garnered MAAC Offensive Player of the Week honors back to back weeks on February 1 and 7. In February, Watson earned her first MAAC Offensive Player of the Week honor of her senior campaign after compiling 19 points at the Michigan Invitational. The 2017 Honorable Mention All American started off her senior campaign in style, scoring 14 goals while distributing five assists in the four games for the Green & White. The captain poured in five goals and one assist in powering the Seahawks to a 16-14 victory over No. 13 Hartwick. She copped her second consecutive MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on February 7 after tallying 15 points on nine goals and six assists in the Brown Invite Providence, RI. The 2017 MAAC Co-Offensive Player Of the Year hit a milestone during the weekend, collecting her 200th career goal with 1:58 remaining in the third quarter against No. 13 San Diego State in putting Wagner ahead by one, 6-5. The senior captain then registered a double hat trick in a 13-10 victory over No. 25 Bucknell. For the year, Watson has nine hat tricks to her credit thus far as she looks to continue to lead the Seahawks to their fifth-straight MAAC Championship title this April.
