In nine games for the month of February, senior guard JoJo Cooper averaged 15.4 ppg, grabbed 4.3 rpg and dished out 6.1 assists in leading the Seahawks to a 7-2 overall record for the month and helped the squad advance into the Northeast Conference (NEC) semifinals. In eight of the nine contests in February, Cooper scored in double figures and eclipsed the 20-point plateau on two occasions, the last coming in Wagner's 73-61 victory over the No. 8 seed, Central Connecticut, in the NEC Quarterfinals on February 28. Additionally, the Wilmington, DE native dished out six or more assists six times. Cooper was one of three Seahawks to earn All-NEC honors, as he garnered inclusion of the first team after averaging 14.2 ppg, 6.2 apg and 5.4 rpg while leading the conference in assists and earning three Player of the Week awards, one of which came on February 19 after helping the Seahawks clinch its second outright regular-season title in a three-year span. For the week, he netted 20.5 ppg, 6.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists while hitting on 53.6 percent of his shot attempts. The Wilmington, DE native matched a career-high with 23 points while grabbing seven caroms and tallying six assists in the Seahawks' 99-84 victory at Sacred Heart back on Feb. 15. On Feb. 17, he nearly posted an identical performance with 18 points, five rebounds and six assists in Wagner' 78-74 title-clinching win over LIU Brooklyn.
