2011 Junior Season
Established himself as the team’s starting second baseman in his first season on Grymes Hill after transferring from Seton Hall … Hit .277 (39-for-141), including .326 during NEC play, with 25 runs, nine doubles, one triple, a team-best four home runs, 23 RBI and seven stolen bases … Also walked 15 times while being plunked 13 times en route to a .392 OBP … Struck out just 10 times, including only seven times during league play … Notched 11 multi-hit games – including a team-best nine during NEC play - and five multi-RBI games – including a team-best four during league play … Played In 48 games, making 38 starts ... Delivered a walk-off, RBI single in lifting Wagner to a game-one, extra-inning 1-0 win over CCSU (3/27) … In first game of a doubleheader at Long Island (4/2), went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI … Sparked the Seahawks to an 11-0 over the Blackbirds (4/3) the next day in game one of a doubleheader, scoring three runs … In the back end of the doubleheader notched a leadoff home run before hitting another one in his first at bat at St. John’s (4/6) … Hit safely in all four games against Monmouth (4/15-4/17), finishing up 5-for-16 (.313) with two runs, two RBI, two stolen bases and a home run … Plunked five-straight times spanning a doubleheader at Quinnipiac (4/21) – including all four plate appearances in game two … Did his damage with the bat the next day in doubleheader sweep against the Bobcats (4/22), going 5-for-9 (.556) with five RBI, three runs, a double and a home run … In second game notched a season-best three hits in four trips to the plate … Hit .429 (6-for-14) with three doubles, three runs and two RBI in four games against FDU (5/6-5/8) … Was 2-for-3 with two runs and a double in game-one victory over Mount (3/19) … In win at Rutgers (3/30), was 2-for-5 with a pair of runs … Also notched two hits in win over Bryant (4/8) … Doubled and scored three runs in game-one win over Saint Joseph’s (4/30) … Hit safely in all three starts at Sacred Heart (5/12-5/14) – highlighted by 2-for-4, two stolen base performance in the first game of Friday’s doubleheader with the Pioneers (5/13) … Ended the season on a seven-game hit streak.
