Sierra Clark averaged a double-double for the month of December, hiitting 19.0 points and 10.0 rebounds in leading the Seahawks to a pair of victories, a 60-43 home win over Longwood (12/10) and a 75-66 victory at Bryant (12/29) in the Seahawks’ Northeast Conference (NEC) opener. The 5-11 graduate student, who was recruited to and played for Heather Jacobs at Adelphi University where she went on to earn Division II All-American honors last season, poured in 29 points, to go with nine rebounds, at Lafayette (12/20), in her top scoring game as a Seahawk. She also grabbed a season-best 16 rebounds, along with 21 points, at Central Connecticut. In Wagner’s 13 games this season, the Hughesville, Maryland native now has six double-doubles, six 20-point scoring games, and 11 double-digit scoring efforts to her credit. Overall, she is now averaging 17.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.
