Wagner College Athletics

Sierra Clark, who was recruited to Adelphi University by Heather Jacobs, is coming off of season where she earned 2016-17 Second-Team All-America honors and was named one of the nation’s 10 best Division II players by the Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association (WBCA).  After being named a CoSIDA Academic All-America selection after earning her undergraduate degree from Adelphi in May, 2017, transferred to Wagner where she will compete for the Seahawks as a graduate student in 2017-18.

2015-16 (Junior): Earned 2015-16 Division II All-Met Second Team, NE10 Academic All-Conference, NE10 All-Conference Third-Team honors … Team’s leading scorer at 13.5 points per-game … Started in nine of 30 appearances … Averaged 22.35 minutes and 6.3 rebounds per-game … Ranked second on the team in blocks with 33 … Tied program record for single-game scoring with 36 points (17-21 FG) in a victory over St. Michael’s (1/9/16) … Recorded a season-high 10 rebounds three times, all in double-doubles … Registered double-doubles in 18 games.

Personal:  Helped Archbishop Spalding to a 21-9 record as the Cavaliers finished the 2011-12 season ranked as the 11th-best team in state of Maryland … Archbishop Spalding ranked as one of the top teams in the nation in the Washington Post rankings in 2010-11 …. Both of her parents, Charmayne and Arthur, played Division I basketball at Radford and Drexel, respectively … Oldest of three siblings … Sister Kaila is a member of the women’s basketball team at the U.S. Naval Academy.
