Emittsburg, MD – The Wagner men's lacrosse team will close out the 2018 season on Saturday, April 28 with a 1:00 p.m. faceoff at Mount St. Mary's. The Seahawks and the Mountaineers enter Saturday's play with matching 4-9 overall records. In Northeast Conference (NEC) play, the Mount is 1-4 while Wagner is 0-5.
Saturday's contest will mark the final game in the careers of eight Seahawks, each of whom were honored last Saturday at Hameline Field in a ceremony prior to the Robert Morris game.
Two of the Seahawks playing in their final games will graduate as the all-time leaders in several categories. Entering Saturday's play, attackman
Andrew Streilein is No. 1 all-time at Wagner in goals (91), assists (58), and points (149), while defenseman
Andrew Park is the Seahawks' all-time leader in caused turnovers with 85.
Also playing in their final games as Seahawks on Saturday will be midfielders
Aaron Denesevich,
Joe Lomeli,
Billy Martin and
JP Pawela, along with defensemen
Tanner Dixon and
Rob Heffron.
