Seth Boyd (Perth Amboy, NJ / Perth Amboy) each notched four hits, leading a 22-hit parade in an 18-6 victory over Iona in non-conference action at Richmond County Bank Ballpark.
The Seahawks recorded season-highs with 18 runs on 22 hits while snapping a five-game losing streak in improving to 17-19 as the Gaels fall to 6-30 with their sixth-straight loss. The 18 runs are the most since plating 21 against Coppin State on March 18, 2009 while the 22 hits are the most since head coach
Joe Litterio took over in 2000.
Wagner will now travel to Bryant for a first place showdown with the Bulldogs, who like the Green & White are an identical 11-5 in Northeast Conference (NEC) play. The teams will begin their four-game set on Friday, April 30 at 3:00 pm.
Wagner batted around twice on the day, plating seven in the third and five in the fifth while scoring in five different innings. Csakai led the way, going 4-for-6 with a career-high five RBI after entering the day with just eight RBI. Boyd also was 4-for-6 with three runs and two RBI while blasting the first Seahawk home run of the year in 10 home games.

Andy Wells (Staten Island, NY / St. Peter's) improved to 1-1 on the year, striking out one over 0.2 innings in collecting his first win of the year while improving to 1-1. Wells and six other pitchers saw time on the mound, combining to strike out nine.
Standing out for the Gaels were James Beck and Chris Griffin, who each went 3-for-5.
Pete Ladis (0-3) assumed the loss for Iona, yielding five runs on seven hits and three walks over 2.0 innings.
Wagner is now 9-1 at home this season while outscoring the opposition by a combined 59-28 margin at Richmond County Bank Ballpark.
