Senior Daniel Zaccariello earned All-East accolades during the month of March, after competing in the 1000 meters at the IC4A Championships. The senior smashed his school record in the event during the preliminary round, crossing the line in 2:25.16, which was four seconds better than the 2:29.17 he ran in 2012. In the finals, Zaccariello went 2:26.85, which was good enough for seventh place overall. The Staten Island native was also a winner at the 2014 Wagner Invite in the 5,000 meter run in 15:49.89, finishing just ahead of teammates James Naglieri and Jacob Malakoff who were second and third.
