Before Wagner: Attended Franklin High School in Franklin, NJ where he was a four-year varsity member of the Warrior track & field program under head coach DaShaun Gorudine... Set a personal-best in the 55m with a time of 6.62 at the Skyland Conference Indoor Championships (January 28, 2017), in which he took first-place honors... In the 200m Outdoors, he posted a time of 22.07 at he NJSIAA Sectionals (May 27, 2017)... In the 400m, he posted a personal-best time of 51.07 at the Skyland Conference Indoor Championships (January 28, 2017)... In the 55m hurdles, his best time came at the Eastern States Indoor Championships (March 1, 2016), when he crossed the finish line in 7.63... In the 60m hurdles, clocked in with a time of 8.35 at the New Balance Nationals Indoor (March 11-13, 2016)... In the 110m hurdles, turned in his best time of 14.34 at the NJSIAA Sectionals (May 27, 2017)... In the 400m hurdles, notched a personal-best time of 53.38 at the NJSIAA Group 4 Outdoor Championships (June 2-3, 2017), taking third-place... As part of the 4x400 relay team, Jenkins along with his three running mates (Tyler Howard, Billy Hill and Mario Heslop), ran a 3:13.47 for a third-place finish that ultimately clinched the Group 4 State title... Has two siblings and will be pursuing a degree in business administration and minoring in nursing at Wagner.
