2017-2018 (SO) Indoor Track & Field  Had a total of four first-place finishes in the 60m hurdle event during the 17-18 Indoor season. Earned NEC Track Athlete of the week for his performance at the Fasttrack Invitational were he clocked in a 7.99 and earned first place honors. Was the 60m Hurdle Champion at the 2018 NEC Indoor Track & Field Championships and was named to the 2018 All NEC first time for his performance. Took first at the IC4A Championships where he clocked in a finals time of 8.99. Outdoor Track & Field Did not Compete in 2017-18 Outdoor season 


2016-2017 (FR) Indoor Track & Field Had a total of six first-place finishes during the indoor season… Three-time NEC Rookie of the Week award winner (December 6, January 10, February 14)… Holds the school-record in the 60H, clocking in at 7.93 at the 2017 NEC Indoor Track & Field Championships (February 17-18)… Earned NEC Most Outstanding Rookie Performer after posting 13 points for the Seahawks… Garnered All-NEC First Team honors in the 60H… Named to the All-NEC Rookie Team… Ran a personal-best 6.98 in the 60M at the 2017 METS Indoor Conference Championships (February 2-3) to finish the event in third place… Posted his fastest time in the 200M at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational (January 27-28), clocking in at 22.51… Named to the 2016-17 NEC Winter Academic Honor Roll…Outdoor Track & Field Had two first-place finishes during the outdoor season, both coming in the 110H… Clocked in with a season-best 14.33 at the 2017 IC4A Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 12), finishing the event in third-place… Holds the school record in the 110H with a time of 14.33… Posted a personal-best of 11.41 in the 100M, ran during the preliminaries at the 2017 NEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships… Named to the 2016-17 NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll. 

Before Wagner: Attended Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, MD... Ran track for the Cavaliers under the direction of coach Andrew Witte... Helped lead the team to the 2013-14 & 2014-15 MIAA A Conference title.... Was named to the All-County and All-MIAA A Team, while garnering inclusion on the First Team All-Metro, Second Team All-Metro squads during his high school career... At the MIAA Championships on 1/29/16, ran a time of 7.49 in the 55m hurdles, setting a new meet record... Was a varsity football player as well, helping the team to a 8-3 record in 2015... Son of Amy Ayeni and Eric Beard... Has two siblings, Javon and Traevon... His cousin, Antoine Bethea, is currently in his second season as a member of the San Francisco 49ers after spending the first eight years as a member of the Indianpolis Colts... Pursuing a degree in Chemistry at Wagner.
