Before Wagner: Attended  I.E.S. Car in Barcelona, Spain and was a member of the varsity track & field program under head coach Gabriel Martinez Pons... As a member of I.E.S Car, helped lead the team to two Division Honor League titles... Individually, was a four-time Spanish champion as a member of the U18 & U20... Garnered championships in 2013 and was the Youth Olympic Champion in 2014, when he competed in Nanjing, China... Son of Oscar del Cerro and Lourdes Vilalta... Has one sibling, Tania... Will be majoring in business management at Wagner.
