Last Week's Wins
Coming off a series win at Stonehill, taking the last two games in a 12-5 win on Saturday, April 18 and an 8-4 victory the next day, the Seahawks rolled into the midweek four games into what was a stretch of nine consecutive road games.
Wagner opened with a 15-11 win at Lafayette on Tuesday, April 21. The team collected five extra-base hits of their 17 total hits and finished with 14 RBIs. The Seahawks scored across seven of nine innings, kicking off with a six-run first.

Junior Joseph Mennella was 2-for-2 with three RBIs, hitting a home run the sixth that broke a shutout to give Wagner a 1-0 lead.
Game two was a 9-3 win for the Seahawks to take the series, their fourth in a row. That game saw Wagner leading just 3-2 through six innings before the offense took control. Mennella was 1-for-3 in that game with four RBIs, including a three-run home run in the eighth. Sophomore Jayden Alvarez was 2-for-3 with a pair of stolen bases.
Closing out the series out early, Wagner took a 15-3 win in the finale to force a seven-inning run rule. This is the fourth run-rule victory for the Seahawks in 2026. Junior Jackson Blakley had a massive game, driving in four runs on a 2-for-3 day where he finished with a double and a triple. Mennella and Immel each finished with three hits.
In the final midweek of 2026, Wagner took a 12-9 comeback win over Saint Peter's, finishing with 11 hits in the fourth game this season that the team has finished with more runs scored than hits.

By the Numbers
In 22 games of 40 games played in 2026, the Seahawks have record double-digit hits. In five of the 18 games with single-digit hits, the team finished with nine.
Wagner's 17 hits at Lafayette tied the season high originally set on April 10 against Norfolk State.
A pair of triples at UMES on April 26 are also a new single-game high for 2026 — the Seahawks have hit six this season, including five in the month of April and four in the last eight days.
Eight stolen bases at Lafayette on April 21 are another single-game high. Graduate Lukas Torres led the way with three of his own. Junior Josiah Ross finished with a pair. Five hit batters in the same game mark another season high.
