Lawrenceville, NJ - The Wagner College baseball concludes its short two-game road tour of the Garden State as they head to Lawrenceville, NJ to tangle with their second Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) opponent in as many days, the Rider University Broncs.

All-Time Series vs. Broncs: Wednesday's contest marks just the 20th all-time meeting between the schools, with Rider holding a 15-4 edge in the head-to-head series. The last time the two squads met, Wagner scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning in posting a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Rider in the Green & White's home opener at MCU Park in Coney Island. The Seahawks were down 2-0 in the last half of the seventh inning. With two-outs, the Seahawks were able to load the bases for former Seahawk Vaughn Champion, who deliver a game-tying two-run single. Current Seahawk coach, Dan Wasilick, broke the deadlock with an infield single in scoring the eventual game-winning run.

Marsh NCAA ERA Leader: Senior co-captain Danny Marsh (Monroe Township, NJ/Monroe Township) is the NCAA Division I ERA leader, as the right-hander has posted a 0.49 ERA over his first six outings (3-1, 1 CG, 37.0 IP). Wagner's all-time ERA single-season leader is former Seahawk standout and 1996 Wagner Hall of Famer Don Finley ('53), who finished the 1953 campaign with a 1.03 ERA.

Mazzio Goes Yard.....Again: For the second straight contest, junior infielder Sean Mazzio (West Chester, PA/Salesianum School [DE]) has recorded a home run. In the Northeast Conference (NEC) series finale against defending league champions, Bryant, Mazzio sent a solo shot over the left field wall in the bottom of the seventh that gave Wagner a 5-3 lead on the Bulldogs. On Tuesday afternoon at near-by Saint Peter's, the West Chester, PA smashed his team-leading fourth home run of the season when he capped of Wagner's six-run second inning with a two-run shot.

Goeke Climbing The Seahawk K List: Austin Goeke is rapidly moving up the Wagner career strikeout list. Through seven starts this year, Goeke has 46 strikeouts, giving him 152 for his career. The Bordentown, NJ native needs just two punchouts to tie former Seahawk Mark Nugent ('98) for 11th on Wagner all-time strikeout list as Nugent finished with 154 career K's. Joe Testa ('08) is the all-time leader with 308.

100-Career Hit Club Gains Two New Members: Junior infielder Sean Mazzio (West Chester, PA/Salesianum School [DE]) became the 56th Seahawk to record at least 100 career hits when he accomplished the feat on March 29 at No. 4 St. John's, in which he went 3-for-4 on the afternoon. The 57th member of the 100-hit club came a week later as junior outfielder Anthony Godino (Thornwood, NY/Pleasantville) went 2-for-3 at Seton Hall, with his first hit coming on a single to left in the second inning. The next member to potentially reach the milestone this season is sophomore C/INF, Phil Capra (North Salem, NY/North Salem), who enters the SPU game with 79 career hits.
