2016 Freshman Season

Appeared in ten games for the Seahawks, making one start... Posted a 1-1 overall record with a 5.40 ERA while tossing 20.0 innings.. In his lone start of the season against Seton Hall (4/6), he scattered five hits over 3.1 innings of work, allowing three earned runs with three walks and a strikeout... In nine appearances out of the pen, he went 1-0 with a 4.86 ERA and a save to his credit... In 16.2 innings of work in relief, he struck out six batters and yielded just two free passes... With two outs, he limited the opposing batters to just a .125 average (1-for-8) in NEC-only contests... Recorded his first collegiate save against Central Connecticut (4/1)...Named to the 2016 Spring NEC Academic Honor Roll.
Before Wagner
Played for Toms River High School North under head coach Andrew Pagano… Graduated with a weighted GPA of 4.25 while being inducted into the National Society of High School Scholars… During his high school career, he volunteered at a local hospital, Community Medial Center… Was a member of the science club, key club, and participated in charitable events to assist various causes… On the field, spent three season with the Mariners… Were Ocean County and Shore Conference Tournament champions in his sophomore season… In his junior & senior year, earned Best Pitcher as voted on by his teammates while being recognized as Pitcher of the Week based on this vote by the Shore Sports Network… During his third season, he posted a 1.17 ERA while posting the best overall record amongst all the juniors on the pitching staff… A year later, he played on the A South All-Star team while being recognized on the Coaches All-Division Team A South… Named team captain, helped guide the squad to the A South championship and finished with a 2.13 ERA while concluding his high school career with a 1.65 ERA… Played summer ball for the New Jersey 9ers under Rob Maida, helping the team win the Northeast Qualifier and a regional championship… Listed as Top High School prospect by the
Perfect Game and received Preseason Underclass All-American Honorable Mention… Before enrolling this fall at Wagner, played summer baseball for Wall Angeles under Frank Collazo.
