Easton, PA – One week after opening the season with a 15-8 home win over Manhattan, and led by the reigning NEC Player of the Week Patrick McMenamin (Longport, NJ/St. Augustine Prep), the Wagner men's lacrosse team looks to make it two straight when they travel to Lafayette to meet the Leopards today in a 4:00 p.m. faceoff.

McMenamin, a junior attackman, tallied a career-high six goals in the season- opening victory over the Jaspers. He sank a pair of first-quarter goals as part of a game-opening 6-0 run.  After Manhattan cut the deficit in half with three straight second-quarter goals to make it a 6-3 game at halftime, the Seahawks scored the first two goals of the second half, with McMenamin notchijng the second score, to give him a hat trick and the Seahawks an 8-3 lead.

The gritty 5-6, 160-pound McMenamin, who has two brothers, twin brother William and older brother Michael that are fellow Seahawk midfielders, added his fourth goal of the game in the third quarter and two more in the fourth as Wagner pulled away for the 15-8 win.
