The Seahawks, who stole seven bases, improve to 20-26 while the Bears fall to 21-23-2.

Damian Csakai (Freehold Township, NJ / Freehold Township) broke his own single-season stolen base record set last year when he swiped his 38th base of the season in the fourth inning. Csakai, who entered the game in tie for sixth place on the national level, then stole his 39th base for good measure in the bottom of the sixth inning.
The speedy centerfielder went 2-for-4 with a double and a run while junior
Kevin McDonnell (Bristol, CT / Avon Old Farms) was 3-for-4 with two runs, two stolen bases and a RBI. All other seven regulars also reached base safely with the Green & White pounding out 11 hits.

Seth Boyd (Perth Amboy, NJ / Perth Amboy) singled up the middle, plating Csakai for the game's first run. Senior
Vin Avella (Matawan, NJ / CBA) then singled to right field, moving Boyd to second base. McDonnell followed by crushing a single off the shortstop's glove, scoring Boyd while moving Avella to third. After McDonnell stole second, junior
Jon Lucas (Hackettstown, NJ / Hackettstown) plated Avella with a RBI ground out, pushing the lead out to 3-0 while advancing McDonnell to third base. Freshman
Gaby Ramirez (San Juan, Puerto Rico / Perkiomen (PA)) concluded the scoring with a line-drive single to right center, making it 4-0.
NYIT got on the board in the top of the second inning with on Dane Hardy's two-out single to right field, plating Christian Dienna, who had previously doubled. Junior RHP
Dale Hering (Belle Mead, NJ / Montgomery) then induced a fielder's choice to end the frame before retiring the next six batters in a row, exiting after 4.0 solid innings. Hering struck out two while allowing one run on two hits and a walk in improving to 3-1.
The Seahawks added a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh inning when Boyd scored on a wild pitch before Ramirez followed with his second RBI-single of the game, making it 6-1.
NYIT would tack on a run in the top of the ninth inning, providing the final 6-2 score. After Hering exited in the top of the fifth inning, five Wagner hurlers struck out five while allowing just three hits and a run over the final 5.0 innings.
Dienna went 2-for-4 with two doubles to lead the way for the Bears. Tom Cardona (2-5) took the loss, allowing four runs on five hits over 2.0 innings.
