Akadema NEC Rookie of the Week … Batted .258 (39-151) with seven doubles, two triples, three home runs, 20 RBI and 17 runs … Also threw out 28.1 percent (25-89) of baserunners … Recorded nine multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games … Played in 52 games, making 47 starts at arguably the most demanding position in baseball … Earned his first NEC Rookie accolade after batting a team-best .455 (5-for-11) at Richmond (3/19-3/21) while recording at least one hit in every game of Wagner’s three-game series and driving in four … In game-one win went 2-for-4 with a double, home run, three RBI and two runs … Logged another RBI double in the second game before recording a two-hit performance in the finale … Picked up honor number two with a big weekend at FDU (4/9-4/11) after helping defeat BIG EAST Champ St. John’s (4/7) ... Batted .389 (7-18) with five runs, four RBI, two doubles and a home run while throwing out 50 percent (4-of-8) of would-be basestealers … Doubled and scored a run in the Seahawks’ 5-2 victory over the Red Storm … In helping the Green & White take three-of-four from the Knights, recorded six hits, four runs and four RBI … In series-clinching victory, notched a career-high four hits (5 at-bats) with a home run, three runs and three RBI … In game three, singled and scored after previously notching a base hit and a RBI in game two … Recorded his first collegiate hit and RBI at Winthrop (2/27) … His two-run single capped a five-run inning in victory over CAA Champ VCU (3/13) … Clouted his second home run at Mount St. Mary’s (4/1) … Went 2-for-4 with a double while scoring the eventual winning run in victory over Seton Hall (4/14) … Also scored the eventual winning run win over Monmouth (4/17) before helping the Seahawks sweep the doubleheader with a RBI after being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the night-cap … Went 2-for-2 with a RBI at Bryant (4/30) … Hit safely in all four games against Sacred Heart (5/7-5/9), going 5-for-13 (.384) with a double, triple and a run … Was 2-for-4 with two RBI in win over NYIT (5/12) … Was 2-for-3 with two runs in win over CCSU (5/15), helping Wagner salvage a doubleheader split … Had hits against Monmouth (5/28) and CCSU (5/29) in the NEC Tournament.
