Junior running back Dominique Williams (Bridgeton, NJ/ Milford Academy) is the Wagner College Men’s Student-Athlete of the Month for November, after rushing for 484 yards while topping the century mark three times. Williams opened the month with a 25-carry, 103-yard, two-touchdown  effort in helping to lead the Seahawks to a convincing and eye-opening 30-0 victory at No. 18 Albany (11/3 , a win that went a long way In carrying the Seahawks to their first-ever NEC Championship. The following week, the 5-9, 200-pound Williams burst free for a season-high 177 yards on 23 carries in helping Wagner stage a dramatic, last-minute 31-30 comeback win over Holy Cross (11/10). Williams was the Seahawks’ leading receiver on the day with five catches for 47 yards, none bigger than his 10-yard TD reception from quarterback Nick Doscher with 7:09 left in the game which brought Wagner to within one score at 30-24. A week later, with the NEC title hinging on the outcome of that afternoon’s game vs. Duquesne (11/17), Williams came through with 98 yards and two touchdowns. In claiming the NEC Championship, Wagner was rewarded with a home game vs. No. 24 Colgate (11/24) in the first round of the NCAA FCS Playoffs. Against the Red Raiders, Williams was again in the middle of much of the Seahawks’  success, rumbling for 106 yards on 21 carries as Wagner posted an emphatic 31-20 triumph over the Red Raiders of the Patriot League.Â
