DANBURY, Conn. — Junior second baseman has been selected to the Eastern College Athletic Conference's All-ECAC Team for 2026, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Immel was named to the All-NEC first team at the conclusion of the regular season, going on to the NEC Tournament with the No. 3 Seahawks, who went 1-2 and were eliminated in the semifinals.
Batting .370 in his first season on Grymes Hill, Immel played in 50 games with 47 starts, primarily taking over the second base position with a few appearances as designated hitter. He led the Seahawks in doubles with 18, good for third in the NEC.
He added a triple, one of five Wagner batters to record a triple in 2026, and hit his first home run in the final game of the season, a solo shot to lead off the second and give Wagner a 1-0 lead over FDU.
The junior finished his season 21 multi-hit games, including a pair of four-hit games tied for the team lead. One of those games was the conference opener against FDU, where Immel was 4-for-5 with a trio of doubles. The second was a perfect 4-for-4 day where he scored three runs.
