Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College women's basketball team will welcome Northeast Conference (NEC) opponent St. Francis Brooklyn to the Spiro Sports Center on Thursday, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 pm.

FDU sits atop the NEC with an 8-1 record while Sacred Heart sits at 8-2.
St. Francis Brooklyn sits in third at 7-3 and Wagner is in fourth with a 6-3 record.
Defense On Lockdown
Wagner's defense has been on lockdown since the start of NEC play. The Seahawks have allowed just 57.8 points per game in their first nine league contests.
In addition, the NEC preseason favorites own a +98.00 turnover maegin during conference play after forcing a league-high 23.3 miscues per game.
On the season, the Seahawks' 21.40 turnovers forced are good for 12th in the nation, while their +5.55 turnover margin also ranks 18th in NCAA Division I.

Terrell Coburn will lead the Seahawks from the bench for the 50th time this Thursday.

Scouting The Terriers
The Terriers enter the Spiro Sports Center with a 8-14 record and a 7-3 mark in NEC play.
St. Francis Brooklyn is 2-5 on the road in NEC play but is riding a two-game road winning streak in conference play.
The Terriers' last two wins on the road were the first two road wins all season.
