Lijirin Doyinsola Modesayor Named All-NEC Second Team; Keana Foz Earns All-NEC Defensive Team Honor

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Junior forward Lijirin Doyinsola Modesayor was named All-NEC Second Team while sophomore guard Keana Foz received All-NEC Defensive Team honors for their performances during the 2025-26 season, announced by the conference on Monday.

During her third year on Grymes Hill, Modesayor averaged 11.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals on 44.8% from the floor across 29 games played and 23 starts. Modesayor was named an NEC Prime Performer on six separate occasions, highlighted by a 19-point, 11-rebound outing at LIU on Jan. 24.

Modesayor scored in the double-figures in 19 out of her 29 games this year, seven double-doubles, has scored at least 11 points in her last six games played, and has recorded nine multi-steal games.

Amongst the conference, the Ondo State, Nigeria native ranks third in rebound per game (7.3), 12th in block per game (0.7), and 17th in points per game (11.1).

Fellow Seahawk Keana Foz was named to the All-NEC Defensive Team for the second consecutive season.

Foz is the only athlete in NEC history to be listed to the conference's Defensive Team twice, after earning the distinction last season in the list's inaugural year as a freshman at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.

During her second year at Wagner, the Mississauga, Ontario native averaged 9.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.0 steals on 38.7% from the floor across 26 games played and 25 starts.

Foz was named an NEC Prime Performer on two separate occasions, highlighted by a weekend at New Haven and Chicago State where Foz averaged 21 points, 2 rebounds, 2.5 assist, and 1.5 steals.

Foz has reached the double-digit scoring mark in 12 games and has recorded at least three steals in 11 games this season.

Among the NEC, Foz ranks third in steals per game and 11th in assists per game.

Modesayor, Foz, and the rest of the fourth-seeded Seahawks welcome the fifth-seeded Le Moyne Dolphins to Spiro for a 7 p.m. tip-off on Monday, March 9 for the quarterfinal round of the NEC Tournament.
