Biography

2022-23 (Junior Season): Second Team All-NEC, finished the season with eight NEC Prime Performer honors while ending the regular season with Prime Performer distinction in the final four weeks of the regular season. The Bowie, MD native finished the regular season averaging 14.0 points per game, good for fifth in the NEC and tops on the Seahawks. Cowan also averaged 15.6 points per game through 16 conference contests while scoring in double figures in 20 out of 27 games this season. Cowan also notched 20 or more points on six separate occasions this season.

2021-22 (Sophomore Season):
The lone Seahawk to start in all 29 games during the season… Averaged 9.4 points per game, 2.6 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game… Was the team’s third leading scorer while ranking among the top-25 in the Northeast Conference (NEC) in scoring… Finished among the top-15 in the circuit in assists… Paced the Green & White from three-point range, converting at a team-high 35.2 percent, which was also among the top-15 in the league… Converted 78.7 percent from the free-throw line, fourth-best shooting percentage in the conference… Scored in double figures in 12 games… Went for a season-high 21 points while hitting on 10 of 12 from the free-throw line at home against St. Francis Brooklyn (Jan. 30)... Produced eight games in hitting at least two three-pointers, sparked by a perfect 4 of 4 clip against Saint Francis U (Dec. 29)... Corralled a season-best six rebounds on the road at Mount St. Mary’s (Feb. 10)... Led the Seahawks in scoring six time during the season while pacing the team eight times in steals, powered by a career-high four on the road against Seton Hall (Dec. 21). 

2020-21: Missed the entire season due to injury.
 
2019-20 (Freshman Season): Appeared in 29 games while making 25 starts in her first season on Grymes Hill… Averaged 8.4 points per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, and 2.7 assists per game… Logged the third-most minutes per game on the team (29.4 mpg)… Tallied 242 points, 84 rebounds, 76 assists, 21 steals, and a block… Shot 33.0 percent from the field, 36.3 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.2 percent from the free-throw line… Scored in double figures in nine games… Went for a season-high 25 points in the first game of the season at #4|5 Maryland (Nov. 5)… Made three or more three-pointers in four games, highlighted by a career-high six made threes on the road at Butler (Nov. 9)… Converted a career-best ten free throws on the road at Rider (Dec. 18)… Had six games in which she pulled down five or more rebounds… Corralled a career-high nine caroms against UMBC (Nov. 16)… Led the team in scoring and rebounding five times… Paced the Seahawks in assists on eight occasions… Led the club in steals in seven games.


Before Wagner: Played for head coach Johnathon Scribner at St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C… As a member of the Cadets, scored close to 700 points over the past three seasons, racking up 289 points for the season in 2017-18…Over this span, she has recorded 24 double-digit scoring games, highlighted by a career-high 20 points in an 85-55 victory over Elizabeth Seton back on December 15, 2017… Corralled a career-best 21 rebounds on February 9, 2018, against Bishop Ireton… Named to the 2018 Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Honorable Mention team as well as garnering 2018 DC State Athletics honorable mention awards…. This past season, after racking up 277 points and 121 rebounds, and 73 total assists, to her second straight WCAC Honorable Mention and DC State Athletics Honorable Mention teams… Guided the Cadets to three WCAC championships as well as three DC state titles.
