Men's Lacrosse Set To Host Mount St. Mary's On Saturday

Staten Island, NY- The Wagner men's lacrosse team hosts Mount St. Mary's on Saturday at Hameline Field with faceoff set for 12:00 p.m.
 
 
LAST TIME OUT…
  • Wagner dropped a 12-3 decision at Hobart last Saturday in Geneva, NY. The Green & White are now 3-6 (1-3 NEC) on the year.
  • Stephen Dwyer, Jack Brady, and Nick Martini found the back of the net for the Seahawks.
  • Goalkeeper Danny Brady made a career-high 23 saves and recorded his 300th career stop in the first quarter of the contest.
 
 

NEC RECOGNITION…
  • For his 23-save performance last Saturday, Danny Brady received NEC Prime Performer honors for the week. This is the third time the junior has been named Prime Performer this season.
   
MOVING UP THE ALL-TIME PROGRAM RANKS…
  • Stephen Dwyer now has 57 career goals at Wagner, passing Bryan Gallagher and moving into fourth place on the all-time goals list.
  • Dwyer also ranks sixth on the all-time points list with 82. The senior is seven points away from tying Kevin Zulauf for fifth place.
  • With 321 career saves as a Seahawk, netminder Danny Brady sits in fifth place all-time on Wagner's saves list.
 
NEC STATISTICS RANKINGS…
  • Danny Brady is third in the conference in save percentage (.569).
  • Wagner's defense has only allowed a conference-best four goals while being a man down. The team also leads the conference in penalty killing percentage (.818).
  • The Seahawks have taken the least number of penalties this season (25).
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: MOUNT ST. MARY'S…
  • The Mountaineers enter Saturday's matchup at 4-8 (1-3 NEC).
  • Mount St. Mary's is most recently coming off a 14-10 loss at home to LIU.
  • Jared McMahon leads the team in goals (16) and points (24).
  • Goalkeeper Griffin McGinley has recorded 117 saves with a 12.94 goals against average in 11 games this season.
