Staten Island, NY – The Wagner men's lacrosse team led by fifth-year head coach
Bill McCutcheon has announced the team's 2023 schedule.
The 14-game slate includes five non-conference games and nine conference games.
The 2023 season will be the first for Wagner in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).

Bill McCutcheon said. "With 14 regular season games we will have an incredibly competitive and full spring slate."
For the second consecutive season, the Seahawks will open its season against Fairfield. After opening the season on the road last year, Wagner will host Fairfield on Saturday, February 18 at Hameline Field.
Wagner will then hit the road to take on Army on Tuesday, February 21 before traveling to Baltimore, MD to take on Queens University of Charlotte, the game is in a neutral cite at Goucher College on Saturday, February 25.
"The addition of Army early in the season is something we are looking forward to with the opportunity to compete against one of the best teams in the nation."
Following the trip to Baltimore, the Seahawks return to Hameline Field as they will welcome Monmouth on Tuesday, February 28.
Wagner will then hit the road for its final non-conference game of the season when they travel to NJIT on Saturday, March 4.
Wagner will compete in its first MAAC contest on Saturday, March 11 when they travel to Poughkeepsie, NY to take on Marist.
The Green & White will then host its first MAAC contest on Saturday, March 18 when they welcome Quinnipiac to Hameline Field.
After hosting Quinnipiac, the Seahawks will host a familiar foe in Mount St. Mary's on Saturday, March 25 before traveling to Brookville, NY to take on LIU on Wednesday, March 29.
After facing off against LIU, Wagner will travel to take on Siena on Saturday, April 1 before a two-game home stand.
The homestand consists of hosting former Northeast Conference (NEC) foe Sacred Heart on Saturday, April 8 before hosting the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) on Wednesday, April 12.
"League play will be highly competitive and we are very excited about being back in the MAAC," McCutcheon added. "The league has so much regional competition and it will make for a fantastic season."
Wagner's final regular season road game will be at Canisius on Saturday, April 15 before wrapping up the regular season at Hameline Field on Saturday, April 22 against Manhattan.
