Emmitsburg, MD – The Wagner men's lacrosse program wraps up the 2021 season Friday at 11 a.m. with a road game against the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers.

The Seahawks put up a strong fight against the Northeast Conference (NEC) regular season champion Saint Joseph's Hawks last Friday afternoon in a 14-7 defeat.

Ryan Whelpley finished 10-for-13, scooping a team-best seven ground balls. Graduate student

Giovanni Armocida all recorded three ground balls; Sweeney added two caused turnovers and Baker added one.
In net, sophomore
Danny Brady finished with 17 saves, his fifth outing with at least 15 saves this season.
About Mount St. Mary's
The Mountaineers come into Friday posting a 3-9 record on the season, with a 1-5 mark in conference play.
Luke Frankeny leads the team with 27 points and 23 goals; he's scored 16 times in the past five games. Brendan Doyle is second on the team with 26 points; he also leads the Mountaineers with 13 assists, all of them coming in his last eight games. Matt Haggerty has 10 goals in his last four games and 16 on the season.
In net, Dylan Furnback has started all 10 of his appearances, earning all three of The Mount's wins. He's averaged just over 12 saves per appearance, posting a .513 save percentage and even 12.00 goals against average.
