Staten Island, NY – Wagner head baseball coach
Jim Carone has announced the signing of seven student-athletes, who will continue their academic and athletic careers on Grymes Hill.
The class is comprised of four position players and three pitchers, all of whom will enroll at Wagner at the start of the 2021-2022 academic year. Five of the seven student-athletes hail from New Jersey, with one signee from California and Minnesota, respectively.
"We are excited to announce our 2021 recruiting class," Carone commented. "The seven newcomers are all student-athletes of extremely high character and will fit into our program seamlessly. We feel that this class of position players is very athletic and versatile defensively. On the mound we are welcoming three pitchers who are strike throwers and who love to compete. I would like to thank assistant coach & recruiting coordinator,
Craig Noto, for his tireless work leading our recruiting efforts in securing such a solid class for our program."
