Darion Jordan-Thomas scored a career-high 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds, but it wasn't enough, as the Wagner College men's basketball team suffered a 68-63 loss against Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday night at the Spiro Sports Center.
Following tonight's game, both teams now sit at 5-15 overall, with FDU improving to 3-6 in Northeast Conference (NEC) play, while the Seahawks fall to 2-7 in league action.

Curtis Cobb III added 13 points, while junior
Elijah Ford was the third Seahawk in double figures with 12 points.
Wagner held the lead for a majority of the first half, and one of multiple Jordan-Thomas dunks and a spectacular traditional three-point play by junior
Chase Freeman with time winding down in the first period put the Seahawks up 36-29 at halftime.
The Green and White extended their lead coming out of the locker room, and a layup by graduate student
Patrick Szpir capped a 5-0 run to open the period and gave Wagner a 42-30 lead.
After Jordan-Thomas made it 47-35 with 14:42 remaining in the half, the Knights answered back, putting together an 18-0 run to take the lead.
The Seahawks fought back and a Freeman three with 1:51 to play made it a one possession game at 64-61, but the Knights held on late for the victory.
The Seahawks held a 23-9 advantage in points from turnovers and dominated 30-18 in points in the paint while holding the Knights to 39.6% shooting from the field throughout the contest.
Tonight's game featured eight lead changes and five ties, with FDU holding a 38-31 advantage in rebounding.
For Jordan-Thomas, it marked the first double-digit performance of his young career, while Cobb and Ford scored in double figures for the seventh and fourth consecutive time, respectively.
