- Baynes and sophomore Joshua Cadet bookend the top-three finishes in the 60m with Baynes turning a time of 7.05 while Cadet was .01 off the pace to place third overall at 7.06.
800m
- Running in his first event of 2020, Thorstein turned in a time of 1:55.50 in the 800m in capturing first-place honors.
- As of Friday, Thorstein's time is the second-fastest in the NEC.
- In addition to Thorstein's strong performance, senior Nick Velez rounded-out the top-five finishers with a time of 1:59.57 while sophomore Mahmoud Abdalla finished ninth at 2:00.01.
3000m
- The Seahawks finished 1 & 2 in the event, as Guidicipietro clocked in at 8:29.60 while teammate Ben Finnigan checked in at 8:31.54.
- Guidicipietro moved up to eighth on the NEC Performance List in the event while Finnigan remains tenth after his performance at the 2019 Seahawk Shootout.
200m
- Wagner had three competitors place among the top-ten in the 200m, led by Joshua Cadet, who finished second with a time of 22.43.
- Sophomore Cyril Babcanec was fifth at 22.63 while Baynes rounded out the top-ten finishers with an eight-place performance, clocking in at 22.80.
400m
- Babcanec competed in the 400m, finishing ninth overall with a time of 51.19.
Mile
- Sophomore Sean Weir and freshman Dominic Palermo finished 12th and 13th, respectively, with Weir checking in at 4:30.17 while Palermo posted a time of 4:31.73.
Field Results
Shot Put
- Sophomores Corey Durden and Michael Pepe placed in the top-10 of the event.
- Durden launched the shot put 14.45m while Pepe was able to post a toss of 13.70m.
High Jump
- Two Seahawks competed in the high jump, led by junior Andrew Ramsammy, who cleared 1.88m to place sixth.
- Junior Keegan Reidy soared 1.78m to rank among the top-15 in the event.
Long Jump
- Ramsammy continued his day in the long jump, leaping 6.32m for an eighth-place showing.
Weight Throw
- Pepe and freshman Adrian Pocesta were among the top-15 individuals to compete.
- Pepe posted a throw of 14.74m while Pocesta finished at a 12.64m.
Relay Results
- The Seahawks elected to have two groups run the 4x400.
- The foursome of Abdalla, Cuthbertson, Thorstein, and Velez finished fourth overall at 3:26.67
- The second quartet of Palermo, senior Alvin Sime, Weir and Ruspantini clocked in at 3:39.29.
