Before Wagner… Was a four-year member of the Susan E. Wagner track & field program under the direction of coach John Padula… Won Most Outstanding Athlete and indoor MVP… Member of the Honor Roll every year at Susan E. Wagner… Was part of the 2016 PSAL Indoor City Championship team his sophomore season… A two-time PSAL weight throw champion as the Falcons repeated as city champions… In his final season, captured the weight throw champ for the second straight year and went to NY State Championships, in which he placed sixth… In 2019, set a personal-record in the shot put with a launch of 40’ 5.5 at the Farrell Invitational (Apr. 6)… Son of Vace and Adem Pocesta… Has two brothers, Blerim and Lutfi… Blerim is currently a member of the Seahawk coaching staff while Lutfi is competing in his final season on Grymes Hill.
