Queens, NY – The Wagner College baseball team is scheduled to play its final midweek non-conference game of the 2019 season on Tuesday evening as the Seahawks make the short trek to Jack Kaiser Stadium in Queens to square off against the St. John's Red Storm. Tuesday's contest is an ESPN3 telecast and is available on the WatchESPN app.

Nick Robino tossed the next three innings, giving up two runs on four hits while striking out five out of the bullpen.

» Dave Matthews and Chris Kanios each had three hits for the visitors, with Matthews delivering three RBIs for the Blue Devils. Patrick Mitchell earned his fifth win of the season after going the distance, allowing just the five hits while walking one and striking out 13 batters.

Anthony Pecora moved into sole possession of 17th place all-time on the all-time career games played list as he now stands at 169. Next up on the list for Pecora is former Seahawks, Joe Conforti, who played in 172 career games.

» The North Salem, NY native moved into a tie with former Seahawk hurler and two-time American League All-Star, Andrew Bailey, for sixth place on the games started list with 35.
» Abbatiello, who struck out seven Central Connecticut batters in game one of Saturday's doubleheader, moved into the top-five on the all-time career strikeout list, as he stands with 191, surpassing former teammate,
Austin Goeke '17 total of 189.

Tyler Sanfillippo, who batted to the tune of a .426 batting average, collecting a team-leading 26 hits during the month of April. Additionally, Sanfillippo paced the club with eight doubles, 19 RBIs, a .607 slugging percentage and a team-high .539 on-base percentage.

Joe Silvestrone led the way for the team with 20 runs scored while swiping three bases in four chances during the month.

McCae Allen earned three wins in his four appearances, posting a 2.13 ERA in 25.1 innings. The Wichita, KS native, who also collected his second NEC Pitcher of the Week honors during the month of April, had a team-high 24 strikeouts.

Justin Beyer, who went 1-0 with a 1.17 ERA in six appearances in 15.1 innings of relief. Beyer led the way with 14 strikouts and held opponents to just a .182 batting average for the month.
