Emmittsburg, MD  –  Winners of two straight, the Wagner College baseball team resumes its Northeast Conference (NEC) schedule this weekend, as the Seahawks gear up for a three-game set down at Mount St. Mary's, beginning on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

» Wagner erupted for a season-high 17 runs on a season-best 22 hits in posting a 17-6 midweek victory over Saint Peter's on Tuesday afternoon. 
» Eight of the nine Wagner starters had at least one hit while senior Anthony Pecora and junior Freddy Sabido led the offensive barrage at the plate with four hits apiece. 
» Pecora, along with junior RF Griffin Schneider, led the offense with four RBIs apiece. 
» Pecora and fellow classmate, Joe Silvestrone, scored three runs apiece as well.

» McCae Allen tossed 6.1 shutout innings while senior shortstop Anthony Pecora provided two of the four runs as Wagner blanked Mount St. Mary's, 4-0, back on March 17. 
» Allen earned his first victory in the contest, allowing just five hits in those 6.1 scoreless frames while striking out five batters. 
» Sophomore Nick LePre picked up his first save of the season in the closing out the Mountaineers. 
» Senior CF Joe Silvestrone, Johnson and junior Griffin Schneider each had two hits, with Schneider and sophomore Brandon Hall each delivering an RBI in the victory. Pecora, junior Tyler Sanfillippo, Schneider and Hall each scored a run for the Seahawks.

» Winners of two straight, Wagner head coach Jim Carone, a two-time Northeast Conference (NEC) Coach of the Year, continued his upward trend on the all-time career wins list. 
» Carone has now moved north of 180 career victories, standing at 183, heading into this three-game stretch with Mount St. Mary's. 
» Carone is just one of two Wagner bench bosses to ever accumulate 175 or more wins, joining former Seahawk head coach, Joe Litterio, who amassed a program-record 240 career wins in 12 seasons on Grymes Hill.
