New Britain, CT – Northeast Conference (NEC) play resumes for the Wagner baseball team as the Seahawks continue its 10-game road swing in New Britain, CT, as they will square off against the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils this weekend in a three-game set.

Jim Carone, as he is just one of two Wagner bench bosses to ever accumulate 175 or more wins, joining former Seahawk head coach, Joe Litterio, who amassed a program-record 240 career wins in 12 seasons on Grymes Hill.

Ian Miller (Seattle Mariners): Miller logged ten games for the Mariners this spring, scoring five runs, adding three hits while connecting on a home run and driving in three RBIs.
» Nolan Long (Los Angeles Dodgers): Long made his spring debut on March 20 against the Chicago Cubs. The towering 6-10 right-hander came on in the bottom of the ninth in a 4-4 game and proceeded to strikeout the first two batters he faced (Johnny Field and Donnie Dewees) before allowing a walk to Zack Short. Short stole second but Long closed out the game, getting Vimael Machin to ground out to first as the game ended in a tie... For the spring, Long logged 1.2 innings, with a walk and two strikeouts.
