  • Seniors Nick Mascelli, Danny Marsh, Anthony Godino and Sean Mazzio will serve as team captains for the 2018 season.
  • Head Coach Jim Carone enters his seventh season with the program and is the fourth Seahawk skipper to win 100 career games.
  • Wagner returns a total of 17 upperclassmen, highlighted by a quintet of All-Northeast Conference (NEC) selections in Godino, Marsh, Mascelli, junior catcher Phil Capra and sophomore designated hitter, Freddy Sabido.
  • In all, the Green & White are bringing back a total of 20 letterwinners, having only lost two players while returning all nine position players, which includes Mascelli, who missed the 2017 season due to injury.
  • Wagner finished fifth in the NEC in team batting, combining to hit .272 while the pitching staff ranked third overall in team ERA at 4.93 and the fielders placed fourth in the circuit, posting a team-total of .961 fielding percentage.
  • Capra led the team in six statistical categories, which included batting average (.351), on-base percentage (.453), hits (65), RBIs (42) walks (31) and total bases (100).
  • Sabido was the team's home run leader in his first season on Grymes Hill, belting nine round trippers.
