Staten Island, NY –
Coming off of Saturday's dramatic 7-6 double-overtime win over Dartmouth, the Wagner men's lacrosse team will look to make it two straight when the Seahawks host the VMI Keydets of the Southern Conference in a 4:00 p.m. faceoff at Hameline Field.

The Green & White are 2-3 on the season, with one-goal wins over Lafayette (9-8), Dartmouth (7-6), a one-goal triple-overtime loss at Manhattan (14-13), a two-goal loss at Monmouth (10-8), and a defeat at then 10th-ranked Rutgers (12-5). The Keydets enter play with a mark of 1-2, own a victory over NJIT (9-8) and losses at No. 13 Army (20-5) and vs. Delaware (15-9).

Fifth-year senior midfielder Paul DeVita (Westfiled, NJ / Westfield) scored the game-winning goal off an assist from junior attackman Andrew Streilein (Mt. Laurel, NJ / Lenape) 1:52 into the second overtime to lift the Seahawks to the victory over Dartmouth. Back on February 26. 2014, he scored with 18 seconds remaining in the fourth overtime period to left the Seahawks to a that 7-6 decision over Monmouth.

Strelien leads the team in scoring with 11 points (8 goals, 3 assists), followed by freshman attackman Nic Ancona (Warrenton, PA / Paul VI) who has 10 points on five goals and five assists following a one-goal, three-assist effort vs. Dartmouth. Following the VMI contest, the Seahawks will host Hampton on Friday, March 10 in a 1:00 p.m. faceoff.
