Charlottesville, VA – The Wagner men's lacrosse team, fresh off of a pair of 7-6 road wins over Dartmouth and VMI, respectively, will look to make it three straight on Thursday when the Seahawks meet Hampton University in a 2:00 p.m. faceoff in a game to be held on a neutral site at the University of Virginia.
Hampton (0-2), in its initial season as Division I member, is the
first historically black college or university to compete in men's lacrosse at the Division I level.
Seven different Seahawks found the net on Tuesday in the 7-6 win at VMI, which came two days after sophomore attackman
Andrew Streilein (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) broke a 6-6 tie by sinking the game-winner with 21 seconds to play at Dartmouth.
After completing their two-game Spring Break Road trip in the state of Virginia, the Seahawks will next meet UMass Lowell in a 3:00 p.m. start on Tuesday, March 15 back in the friendly confines of Hameline Field.
